Cebu’s first-ever architectural radio program, Pulido: Arkitekto, Tambagi Ko! has wrapped up its successful second season and is celebrating with an off-season roadshow to bring expert guidance on home construction and renovation directly to the community.
The program, a trusted resource for Cebu residents seeking expert advice on building and renovating their homes, is reaching out with two interactive events held in partnership with Cebu Home and Builders Centre (CHBC).
The first roadshow event kicked off on November 9, 2024, at the CHBC branch in A.S. Fortuna, Mandaue City. The second event is set on November 23, 2024, at CHBC’s Toledo City branch, running from 9 AM to 12 NN. These events, led by the Pulido team, will provide valuable insights into essential home design considerations so the local community can access practical knowledge on building safe and efficient homes.
The Pulido team includes renowned Cebu-based architects Edmund Samson, Ana Karmela Po, Robert Malayao, and Nheil Crisostomo. During the roadshows, they discussed the importance of correctly installing crucial home features, such as the toilet system, a key component in creating a durable and functional living environment. The architects explained that correct toilet system design and installation—including proper water line identification and toilet bowl placement—ensures the toilet system’s longevity and compliance with government standards.
In addition to expert insights, representatives from CHBC, Adonis Anda and Cye Pascual, showcased a range of high-tech toilet models and versatile tile options available at CHBC. They also announced that the CHBC will hold its Year-End Sale from November 15 to December 15, 2024, with discounts on select products, allowing homeowners to access quality materials for their home projects at reduced prices.
Pulido: Arkitekto, Tambagi Ko! prommotes accessible and disaster-resilient housing solutions for low-income families. Broadcasting every Saturday morning on DYLA 909 KHz, the program educates listeners on practical tips to avoid common construction issues, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in home-building projects.
