The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) formally ushered in its newly elected 2026 Board of Trustees and Executive Committee Officers during the Joint Meeting of the Outgoing and Incoming Board of Trustees held on March 2, 2026, at the Don Ramon Aboitiz Boardroom, Cebu Chamber Centre. The transition ceremony marked a significant moment of continuity and renewed leadership for one of the Philippines’ most influential business organizations.
The program brought together business leaders, past presidents, and representatives from the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) to recognize the contributions of outgoing trustees and formally induct the new leadership who will guide the Chamber’s strategic direction in the coming year.
LEADERSHIP TRANSITION AND RECOGNITION OF SERVICE
The meeting opened with reflections from 51st CCCI President Jay Yuvallos, who delivered a thoughtful message on leadership, integrity, and continuity. He emphasized that leadership within the Chamber must always serve a broader purpose beyond organizational interests.


“Leadership is not perfect. What matters is the direction we take and that the direction benefits our members, the community, and ultimately the country,” he shared, underscoring the Chamber’s commitment to ethical leadership and public good.
The Chamber also honored the dedicated service of outgoing trustees:

RESULTS OF THE 2026 CCCI BOARD OF TRUSTEES E-ELECTION
The official results of the 2026 CCCI E-Election were presented by Immediate Past President Charles Kenneth C. Co, Chairman of the Election Committee. The election saw strong member participation, with 273 votes cast from 666 eligible voters, reaffirming the Chamber’s commitment to transparent and democratic governance.

ELECTION OF THE 2026 EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Following the induction of the Board, the trustees elected Regan Rex King as the 52nd President of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

President King subsequently introduced his leadership team, which he described as the “Sprinting Team,” reflecting a leadership approach focused on agility, collaboration, and results-driven execution.

The newly elected officers were formally inducted by PCCI Regional Governor for Central Visayas Felix Taguiam.

In his inaugural address, President King emphasized that the Chamber’s work goes beyond program management and into shaping Cebu’s economic trajectory.

“We are not simply managing programs. We are shaping the future of Cebu,” he said, calling on entrepreneurs, MSMEs, and business leaders to embrace innovation, integrity, and collaboration.
He outlined key leadership priorities that will guide the Chamber’s direction:

● Sustainability in long-term business growth
● Transformation in Cebu’s competitiveness and innovation ecosystem
President King also reaffirmed the Chamber’s commitment to working closely with government, academe, and industry stakeholders to strengthen Cebu’s position as a globally competitive business hub.
